LGBTQ+ adults, comprising 7.6% of the U.S. population and skewing younger with 62.7% under 35, represent a diverse and growing market. This audience, predominantly female (64.4%) and more racially diverse than the general population, is heavily concentrated in urban areas, especially in the South as well as states like California and Oregon. They are avid users of social media and podcasts, underindexing in traditional media. They face unique health challenges, show strong political engagement favoring democratic candidates, and nearly half identify as religious.
